A small ceremonial kiva sits tucked away in an alcove in the canyon wall 140 feet above Frijoles Creek. Besides the kiva, there were living quarters for up to 25 people in this lofty cliff dwelling reached by several ladders. Bandelier National Monument, New Mexico.
