Tucked into a small alcove at the base of a huge sheer cliff of sandstone streaked with desert varnish sits White House Ruin. For some unkown reason one of the dwellings in the group was white washed and stands out from the others. Was this the leader's house? Or the dwelling of Shaman? We'll never know. Canyon de Chelly National Monument, Arizona.
