Driving up a jeep trail from Silverton, we crested Hurrican Pass just as a storm was rolling in. The bright green tundra on the red and orange slopes stood in stark contrast to the blue and gray of the storm clouds that were enveloping the mountains. Time to get off the mountain! San Juan Mountains, Colorado.
